Highly recommended for recently appointed managers

This book is an overview of management techniques and does not intend to provide a deep analysis on each topic presented. That is, in my view, its strength and the quality that makes it an excellent resource for those recently appointed to management ranks.

Must have in every manager's desk

This is the 2nd time I bought this book. The first one, I kept for years and eventually gave to my son who is now taking business in university. This one will be for my own personal use. I have benefitted quite a lot with the advice given by this book. Highly recommended for new supervisors who have to deal with managing people, budgets and running meetings.
