The story was long and rambled on for far too long. The secret was a big distraction and kept the story from progressing.

Well once again the story starts off vaguely. It's a strange story. Definitely a unique storyline. The reasons behind the contract have yet to be answered.
I'm indifferent about this story. I've reached a point where I no longer care if Amara and Colin get back together.
There are too many side stories working as fillers and distractions. This story could have been tied together into one story with one main focus.

This secret is destroying the story. I'm so hung up on this secret that I cannot appreciate any other part of the story. The author spends so much time trying to make the reader believe Amara is nothing special and yet she is important enough to have her life disrupted.

Claire is writing in riddles. I'm so lost. So many loop holes. I'm tired of hearing Amara has to do work for Phillip because she has no choice.
I feel the love and sex between Amara and Colin is more of a label. It's forced down your throat to a point of annoyance.
This story was weird. I do not even remember what the contract was used for. The story gets sidetracked with her mothers cancer and working for Phillip that I lost focus on the plot. Claire rambled for too long trying express the depth of their love for each other.

So many holes...

I had been looking forward to this sequel but ugh, this just didn't do the story justice. Everything was just so haphazardly thrown together and made little sense. From the first book, we knew Amara was supposed to draw out the bad guys by working as an escort but in this one so many twists and turns happen you can't keep up and NONE of them are logical.
SPOILER ALERT
So we find out that Amara is supposed to go to Iran to meet up with the sultan but is instead drugged and taken to the sultan's place in Paris by force. Why? She was going anyway.
The whole premise of the story is that only Amara can access the safe but when she meets the sultan, he already has removed the papers from it... Ummm. How?
He's a sultan right? Known for terrorist acts and crazy violence but Colin just waltzes in sans weapons, picks Amara up, and walks out without meeting any resistance?? Oh, and this is while the U.S. soldiers have magically appeared on the scene. But, again, no guards? He's a sultan?!?!
Very frustrating all around.

LOVED IT!!!

I couldn't wait to get my hands on this book after reading the first one and wow I was not disappointed. Book two continues on right from book one and the plot thickens.
I thought after book one, it would be easier for Amara and Colin but it doesn't get easier at all. You never know who she could trust and who she couldn't.
I lived for the scenes between Colin and Amara, they are just so explosive together. No matter what was going on between them, they could never deny their passion and love for each other.
I was saddened by what happens with one character..but overall loved the book including the outcome.

Excellent for Firming Jawline and Neck Skin

I noticed a sagging neck and jawline. Started several of these exercises in the shower when washing my face. Within 3 weeks my jawline and neck look much firmer! I wish this book were still in print. I am a yoga teacher and would recommend it to my students.

We took pictures over a 9 week period to see how my face changed. And my facial muscles tightened and I look younger! I got my first compliment within in two weeks of doing these exercises.

I highly recommend making this part of your weekly regimen!!!

Don't bother with face creams

I've tried serums and creams and always looked in the mirror optimistically over the following weeks. But I've never noticed any changes. But the morning after my first exercise routine from the Yoga Facelift I saw a difference. I was shocked! Don't bother with botox or face serums. If anyone knew about this obscure book, the skincare industry would be revolutionized. Strengthen and tone the muscles in your face just the way you do your body and you'll see the same lift you do in your tush after yoga and kettleballs. It really makes sense intuitively. It's a short book that is a quick read. It's also organized so that you can prioritize whatever areas are most important to you. I loved it! Now I want a sequel in the form of a video tutorial!

I will look for a better one.

When I was in nursing school the first time back in 2000-2002, we had an earlier version of this book. The earlier version was a lot easier to read than this one. This one is very big and heavy. Was obscenely expensive. The text print is too small. They have made the pages way too busy with boxes and other stuff. You add all that together and it makes a miserable textbook. I would return it right now if I didn't have more chapters to read for the RNR program I am in. Needless to say, I will definitely NOT be keeping this book for future reference. I will look for a better one.

Buy the clinical companion avoid this if you can

Book contradicts itself in many locations. Babbles in others. Out of 24 students in my cohort, more than 18 books have fallen completely apart in less than a year. Because I ordered it through Amazon instead of waiting for my campus bookstore to get the books in, I cannot get a replacement. For the money the book should be able to hold together.

Jesse was a Distinguished Software Engineer at AT&T, and Vice President for technology development at Citibank.

Brian MacDonald is an editor of programming and networking books. He has edited books for several major publishers on topics from securing Windows servers to PHP web programming to running an eBay business. His work for O'Reilly includes Programming ASP.NET and Programming .NET Components. He lives in southeastern Pennsylvania with his wife and son.

Author support is amazing!

I cruised through the first seven chapters, but I got bogged down in the eighth. So I went to the author's Delphi forum and posted a couple of questions. Received four answers promptly, two by JL himself. And he even apologized (!) for being less than perfect.
Yeah, the book is intelligent, well organized, entertaining, blah blah...but who cares? With this kind of support from the author, you are just about guaranteed success.

Very well-written book!

I am most impressed with the examples in this book. The author clearly has a knack of weeding out irrelevancies that might cloud the issue. His examples deliver the main point of the subject matter quite adeptly. I would recommend this book to anyone who wants to learn C#.
As a side note though, this book is not for readers who want to learn the advanced features of C#.

This book is really good for programmers with no/little knowledge of object oriented programming and starting to learn C#. The author really focusses on explaining the core concepts of C#.NET in the most compact way possible and yet easy to understand.

About the Author
Bruce Ballenger is the author of four books, including The Curious Researcher, a student guide to writing research papers, and Beyond Note Cards: Rethinking the Freshman Research Paper. His fifth book, forthcoming from Allyn & Bacon and coauthored with Michelle Payne, is Readings for the Curious Researcher. Bruce's articles and creative nonficiton have appeared in publications ranging from College English to the Boston Globe. He currently directs the writing program at Boise State University.

Michelle Payne is Assistant Professor of English at Boise State University in Boise, Idaho, where she currently serves as Assistant Director of the Writing Program, trains teaching assistants, and teaches courses in writing, composition and rhetorical theory, and feminist theory. She has contributed essays and chapters to several publications, including The Bucknell Review, Taking Stock: The Writing Process Movement in the 90's (coedited by Lad Tobin and Thomas Newkirk), and Writing and Healing: Toward an Informed Practice (coedited by Charles Anderson and Marian MacCurdy).

The Curious Reader

I had to buy this for an English class, and the cover had me thinking it was going to be terrible. I was pleasantly surprised, however, as the essays inside were, for the most part, actually fairly interesting. I got it used for about 10 bucks, too, which is always a steal when it comes to textbooks.

Great Book for Anyone...almost

I rented this book because it was required in the class I took with Dr. Poole and wish I had purchased it instead. So I am, and I'm also getting it for a relative with a background in American Studies. It is informative as to the place of the Devil specifically and of religion generally in America from its roots onward and encompasses history, politics, psychology, entertainment, and art. There are even sections on comic books, if that's your forte. The author, who writes simply with a touch of humor, makes little pretense on how he feels about the negative aspects of religion in America; so a reader might not want this if h/she is ultra-conservative and doesn't want his feathers ruffled. In other words, buy this if you are open to new ideas and slants, want to learn, be informed, and...perhaps...have your vision of America changed.
