read book 1 only

I only read and finished book 1. The author did a great job in her writing, this is the first book that I've read that gave me really strong feelings with each character. Oh, how I dislike Allison. I really don't like the manipulative type who think they are better than anyone and deserves it because life treated them unfairly. So when I started reading the first page of book 2 and it started with Allison, I decided to put it on hold. Can only take so much of her, so if the writer did intend for the readers to hate her, she did a good job.
